CHILDREN IN NEED PLEDGE SUPPORT TO KIDNEY KIDS SCOTLAND

We are delighted to announce that BBC Children in Need have pledged £30,000 to support Kidney Kids Scotland over the next three years.  This year they supported our Family Weekend which took place on 5th & 6th May at the Westerwood Hotel in Cumbernauld.

The Kidney Kids Family Weekend provides a unique opportunity for families to get together in a relaxed environment and meet other families who are on a similar journey.  It also gives them the chance to take time out to just be 'a family' and the children always love the weekend entertainment - from magicians to discos and everything in-between. Thanks to the medical staff who give up their valuable spare time to take part in the weekend, there are informative sessions on every aspect of living with a kidney or urological condition - from diet ideas and coping strategies to preparing for transplant.

Thank you to Children in Need for supporting this very special and very important weekend.
